UPDATE: Ed Morrissey has a good write up on Dutch public broadcaster KRO giving up on its planned production to show that the Bible contains just as much potential for violence as the Koran. It seems that KRO canceled the show because producers discovered they couldn’t make the case. EM points out something that I have tried again and again to explain to mushy liberals in times past: “While no one doubts that the Bible contains plenty of violence, it comes in the context of history, not commands.” Unsurprisingly, they could never quite grasp that.
