The story of the fifth grader who was suspended for wearing a t-shirt to school that read “Obama: A terrorist’s best friend” received some national attention today. He’s going to sue, as he should.
But does anyone else think it is deliciously funny that the name of the local TV reporter who delivered the story is Christin Ayers?
How unfortunate. After all, Bill Ayers is the former unrepentant domestic terrorist who would otherwise still be in jail had the feds not botched the case.
It’s the same Bill Ayers who lives in Chicago and who actually is Obama’s friend and business associate.
Ayers is a man who has contributed money to Obama, hosted at his home at least one campaign event for The One Who Will Bring Change, and worked with him extensively on various entities in Chicago. Any other representation of their relationship is dishonest, as Morrissey’s post today summarizing Stanley Kurtz’s digging into the Chicago Annenberg Challenge documents.
